Fuel Flow: 70 GPH @ CRS Level
AYNZ,Lae,Papua New Guinea : 04:00 Local
KAHQ,Howland Is. : 00:00 Local.
Please note that there is no OFFICIAL ICAO for Howland Island. I use what scenery
gives me, although I believe it should be PAHQ if not used. They used KAHQ!
Scenery is available at www.flightsim.com - search "howland island" or "amelia earhart"
both searches will also get you the plane for FS9 and FSX and all flight plans, Want it real as
it gets? Follow my blog and read what I did three years planning!
Flight Plan Filed:
AYNZ FIN TB 01N77 KHAQ (fictional as no official ICAO - Arpt. is a swamp!)
Pre-Flight METAR's:
No weather stations available so hope for tail winds.
Real weather is being use this entire set. Doing live on HopTo server as it allows.
FLIGHT NOTES:
Full power w/ fuel - 31 minutes to get to 10,000 ft!
134kias @ 81 gph @ 10,000 crs Hdg.088 Wnds: 259/20
Winds completely against me this flight! At 1,000nm out get 162kias and 70 gph The most important flight of them all! Wind hated me most of flight!
Four hours into flight and server boots me without warning and won't let me back! It does that and sux when flying with a fellow MAX pilot MAX710 and at times MAX7!
Very heavy fuel - but plane was modified for Amelia mainly for this leg. I try my best.
This is the longest and most important flight of this entire trip. All of my skills were targets this flight.
I have waited over three years to do it. I know my plane and I did it! I did hours practise at Howland-
and NAILED it on third approach. I dare anyone to do better!
I did it! Took three tries (go-arounds) to land in dark on a swamp (there are NO lights - miss Rwy. - it will crash you!)
But I freaking did it! I Dare anyone to match me theses flights! I practise three years for this. I dare you Howland Island! To do it at night was like pushing a damn lawn mower In the dark - but I freaking did it! OMG! I cry
I did it - two legs to go but I beat the beast! That was my goal and I did and online too!
God Bless you Amelia Earhart - I made it with your faith!
