-Red square: Important change the port to other number than 23456 or 23457 (or 23452 i think is the server host port).
About the theory: All the players must be have a different port, if any one have the same port as other player, may one of this players get blocked, for example, i have the 121 port, if anyone use the same port, may causes a block to me or to him.
---Why a small number? - I think in a number that no one would use.
-Blue sqare: only works if you host a session. I only connect to a server so i dont change it.
Maybe USA, S.America, & the UK use different protocals. My sim does not recognize 3-digit port codes. I put 121 into mine and it wont even give option to connect.
Also, from server owner - (Port 23432 & 23433 WILL BLOCK and are not authorized) - The only ports he has authorized are 23456 thru 23465. NONE are 3-digit. So I'am damn confused.
As for different ports each flyer - that is NOT valid. We have tested that, and that's what leads me to suspect FIREWALLS. Firewalls must me off completely! No need for them on flight server. Not just Windows firewall, but any anti-virus or router walls too! The owner agrees with me - any firewall in use will affect his built in firewall and cause blocking. This info is from the server owner and he just rebuilt the server and added the new ports.
The firewalls conflict with each other, therefore they block each other!
That's my theory based on creator / owners comments. As for 3-digit ports - unheard of here but if it works - looks like it does you and mike. then continue. I hold strong beleif it's a firewall issue, just from limited experience with servers. Alas, I'am no pro with servers! Best I offer: Kill all firewalls! The server has one - yours may conflict with it and cause blocks!
