This was supposed to be a PM to help someone but I believe others can use the information to. Every router is different it seems when it comes to forwarding port, so you must check documentation for your particular router, look up on internet, or if needed call your friendly ISP customer service. Ports that MUST be forwarded & open are as follows:UPD 23453 thru 23459 <--Note, I port these numbers as both TPC/UPD as long as UPD is tested OK your good.) You may not ever use them all but you will see many on the servers. Good to have then open. UPD 6073 UPD 2300 thru 2400 TCP 80 (TPC 81 also a good idea)This is most likely already done but the test will confirm. You should be able to add them as port ranges, ex. UPD 2300-2400 The 6073 is stand alone Depending on router, you may have to do the 2345#'s individually or it may allow a range as in 23453-23459 Also port TPC 47624 just as pre-caution. Most routers this already done. After porting these numbers, run the test program from: www.chocolatesoftware.com/forum/index.php?topic=737.0The direct file is:http://www.chocolatesoftware.com/fshost/FSPortTest_1.6.exe Upon running the test, you should see a screen like this to confirm all are configured properly:If you get any other message except "OK" next to the port number - IT IS NOT FORWARDED PROPERLY!

This is gotten out of hand! Read carefully the first post on this thread! You need to test with fsPortTest and if it does not say "No Errors Found"- then you need to change your router/modem settings or turn off firewall!Have a Froggie Hoppin Day!

That means they are NOT forwarded correctly.
Since every router is different, you need to look up your model on internet for instruction or maybe call you internet provider.

Remember to forward all listed in the first post this thread. Some may be done already but verify. Have a Froggie Hoppin Day!

My problem is not with those with unopened ports. My problem is people who refuse to test with www.chocolatesoftware.com/fshost/FSPortTest_1.6.exe and then leave firewall on! That ruines everyone else on or trying to get on! MAX502 & MAX509 are bad about that! Also, if you read instructions, the client is required if using FSX! I too will start booting and banning from the Pond! No choice if blocked as server host!
If www.chocolatesoftware.com/fshost/FSPortTest_1.6.exe shows nothing but OK's you are good. If shows a "Time-Out"error then there is your problem! Quick and easy to fix yet some refuse to even test! Test modems and routers to allow or get lost! Leave Firewalls OFF! as not needed! All instructions Angie posted first post on this thread!
