This apply for multiplayer sessions and works for FS9/FS2004 and FSX, when you see other pilots in Cessnas 172 floating in air and you ask yourself "Why it is wrong?". if all we agree and change aircraft titles of airplanes maybe we can see properly when we are in multiplayer. First enter to Flight Simulator Aircraft folder (in FSX is in Microsoft Flight Simulator X/Sim Objects Airplanes) Select the plane and open his folder which you will change the title (the name of the plane folder not affect) i rename my aircraft folders only for have my FS9 organized. Right click on aircraft.cfg file and select "open with" or "open..." and select notepad.

This is what will change Then search in Wikipedia the aircraft name (why wikipedia? because if all looking in the same place, will agree.) In this case, the Boeing 787 have more versions, my version is Boeing 787-8

In this plane, have 3 textures, you need to change in all [Fltsim.xx] the title When you have more than one texture, you must agree "Paint1" in the [Fltsim.1], "Paint2" in the [Fltsim.2], etc... Then only save the changes and close the notepad, the plane now have the new title
