My home airport is CYXU London International Airport, based 2.6km from the city of london ontario (more to be found on wikipedia)
what's one thing people don't know about your airport that you (a seasoned user of it) knows well..
mine would be it was used as a BCATP (British Commonwealth air training plan) airport back in world war II
that's one most don't know about when they first move or visit here...
now a sprawling little airport with jet service to Calgary and other places down south its an amazing place...
try visiting it in sim or maybe in real life!!

Our nearest commercial airport is Oslo International (OSL), 40 minutes from here. But because the flights are cheaper, we normally use Torp Sandefjord (TRF), two hours away.

There is also Kjeller Airport (ICAO Code ENKJ, no IATA code), a former air force base now mainly used by private small plane owners and air sports clubs about 20 minutes from here, where you can rent taxiplanes and helicopters for private tours. It is suggested closed many times, but has survived so far. At the southern end of the runway, a main road has to close every time a plane lands or takes off, which adds to the stress.

On the way to Sandefjord International Airport Torp, we also pass the nearby Tønsberg Airport, Jarlsberg (ICAO: ENJB) a general aviation airport located at Sem in Tønsberg, Norway. It consists of a 799-by-18-meter (2,621 by 59 ft) asphalted runway and a 900-meter (3,000 ft) taxiway. Jarlsberg is used for a variety of activities, including glider pilots, light and microlight aircraft, radio-controlled aircraft, parachuting and the annual air show Wings & Wheels. The airport is owned by Thor Solberg Aviation and operated by Jarlsberg Luftsportssenter. Jarlsberg is also famous for its Swiss-type cheese, btw.
